The DataMatrix Code Marker (DMC) helps solve the problem of identifying similar types of parts in production where similar types of parts may be confused. After marking the DMC, this code is checked in other manufacturing operations, eliminating operator error.

The device contains:

• laser marking subsystem,
• linear axes to adjust the position of the marking head from the top and the side,
• manipulator for transporting parts and turning parts during inspection and marking,
• camera system for scanning and evaluating identification numbers,
• software that includes a database application for recording types, parameters and settings with the option of automatic casting.
